Thank you for a wonderful holiday! Maison des Cypres is such a pretty, comfortable, well equipped house and has easily enough space for 2 families (we were 8 people).
We enjoyed a week with a fair bit of sightseeing & adventure, combined with fabulously relaxing evenings playing board games outside on the verandah with local wine.
The pool is large enough to get some exercise if you are so inclined, and great for a bunch of kids playing games together.
The house is located in an ideal spot so you can visit many lovely places and the amenities are good too - hypermarket is less than 10 mins away, and the local village has a brilliant restaurant whose menu changes regularly and they cooked bespoke meals for our fussy eaters!!

Our family of five had a wonderful time at Maison des Cypres.
It was like home from home with all the comforts you would need - and a pool thrown in too! The pool was loved by all and very well used, perfect being so close to the house.
The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen well appointed with all the gadgets you could need.
A huge bonus was the table football, our daughters loved it! We discovered the table tennis too which was ideal for the occasional wet day.
The views were absolutely stunning and we did enjoy our gin o'clocks under the verandah next to the barbecue playing boules.
We picked some pomegranates, walnuts and a few figs too from the old trees in the gardens. What a treat!
It is a lovely house to really relax in and escape from the modern world - yet also have lots of fun things to do in the surrounding area. Thoroughly recommend Maison des Cypres!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the house - it’s very well appointed and we enjoyed the pool on some very hot days! In addition to the suggestions in the house book, we would recommend the archery and rifle shooting nearby, it was great fun!
Our dogs loved the large secure gardens and the nearby Site Naturel des Tourbieres, where they tried to befriend a rather unimpressed crayfish!
Overall a fantastic stay with lots to see & do nearby - Thankyou! ❤️

Such a beautiful house with the most stunning views! The pool was a godsend in the 36C heat!
The Friday market at Brantome was good then we walked around Brantome which was beautiful.

We came with friends so our group was 8 and the house worked so well for us.
The location is perfect for so many holiday must dos - kayaking, vineyards, chateaux and of course beautiful french villages.
We loved spending afternoons by the pool and evenings playing games on the veranda - we must come back!

Perfect house & location, the pool was lovely especially on the very hot days. Luna enjoyed chasing the lizards!

First time in this beautiful house, we were blown away by the views & sunsets from here.
It was hot, hot, hot while we were here but the pool was fabulous.
Thank you so much for leaving such a kind welcome gift of food & fizz, it certainly made the arrival easier.
We have been exploring the local area and loved Grottes de Villars and canoeing at Brantome especially.
It's a beautiful area of France and we may well come back.
